Our Viewing Procedure

Our marketing suites and show homes are open for drop-in viewings, we are now able to book appointments to visit our show homes. To help keep everyone safe and healthy, we have made some changes to our viewing procedure.

What safety measures will be in place?

The health and safety of our employees and customers remain our top priority. The following hygiene and social distancing measures will be in place at all our show homes:

1) Sales advisors will wear a mask and disposable gloves.
2) The keys will be cleaned in disinfectant before and after each visit and will only be handled by our sales advisors.
3) Sales advisors will wipe down all door handles (in and outside the home), as well as surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom, with disinfectant before and after the viewing.
4) Customers will be asked not to touch any other items in the house during their viewing.
5)Customers will be asked not to use bathroom facilities whilst in the house.
6) All customers and sales advisors will be asked to wash their hands when they enter and leave the property (soap and paper towels will be made available in the downstairs cloakroom).

If you are visiting our show homes, prior to your visit you will be asked to acknowledge receipt of this procedure by confirming you understand the procedure and you will adhere to it.

Do I have to visit on my own?

You will be able to visit with members of your household however you will not be able to bring anyone along with you who you do not currently live with. This is to help reduce any risk of spreading Covid-19. Anyone purchasing a house together who does not currently live together will need to make separate appointments.

Will the sales advisor take me round?

To help abide by social distancing, our sales advisors will not walk around the show home with you. They will welcome you to the house and will open the front and back doors before you enter, allowing you to walk around the show home on your own. Throughout your visit, the sales advisor will remain in contact with you via telephone, answering any questions you may have as you walk around the show home.

What happens after my visit?

Following your visit, you will be invited to a virtual meeting with our sales advisor, at a date and time that suits you. During this meeting, our sales advisor will be able to share their screen with you and talk through the particulars of the house that you are interested in. For example, they will go through the site plan to show you whereabouts your plot is, the high specification included within our homes and the different house types and layouts available (apologies but we are unable to email this information to you separately – however you can download our brochures from piperhomes.co.uk). They will also be on hand to provide advice on the house-buying process and can put you in touch with other external advisors to help make the journey as simple as possible.

During this virtual meeting, our sales advisors will also explain our reservation process, which can now be done remotely.

How long will my viewing last?

We will allocate one hour to your physical viewing. Please attend at the agreed time so that all health and safety procedure can be correctly followed. If for any reason you cannot make the agreed time, we ask that you contact the sales advisor to make them aware.

We recommend that you allocate two hours for the virtual meeting following your physical walk around of the show home.

How do I reserve one of your homes?

We have changed our process so that you can now reserve your home remotely. All reservation paperwork will be completed online to avoid direct contact and the process will be explained fully prior to you committing to purchase one of our homes.

Great, how do I make an appointment?

It’s simple, just call 07734 959988 and one of our team will be able to get a date booked in the diary.

Should you or your family members show any signs Covid-19 symptoms or have had any symptoms within the last 14 days, we would request that you cancel your appointment and re-arrange for another time. We thank you for your co-operation in these challenging times.
